BOGENFEST | ZUG DRÃBER - DIVERSITY DRUNTER

Once again this year, the Bundesbahn music band will be giving a concert in front of the exhibition hall at 3 pm to kick off the Bogenfest. With traditional marches, brilliant fanfares, but also film music and, of course, a fast-paced railroad steam gallop, the band of the ÖBB, co-operator and user of the viaduct arches, performs its skills right on its doorstep, so to speak, and is once again looking forward to a mixed audience.

With their debut album and its unique blend of darkwave and post-punk, the dynamic duo Zack Zack Zack have shaken up the Austrian music scene in 2021. Their first music video for the song 'Bütün' immediately attracted international attention. This was followed by performances all over Europe. Zack Zack Zack is Yigit Bakkalbasi and Cemgil Demirtas. Both are originally from Izmir, Turkey, and currently live in Vienna, Austria. They like to experiment and surprise with innovative sounds. Retro-future, avant-garde, experimental, synthwave - their music is beyond borders and labels. Their name is an artistic manifesto - a play on words that refers to Austria's political catastrophe ('Ibiza Affair') of May 2019, which revealed the dirty face of politics and led to the fall of the government.

TASHEENO is the world's first EAD (ElectronicAfroDub) band! Their hybrid LIVE performance is a skillful and sophisticated blend of electronic, monotone music, dub elements and technoid patterns, inspired by Afro-Caribbean and South American music and rhythms. Some already refer to them as the inventors of their own genres such as ElectronicAfroDub, CyberSka and Jamdown House. TASHEENO's debut album is titled 'Dance Music Inna different Style' and will be released in spring 2024, consisting of some already released tracks as well as brand new music with 10 international feature guests from all over the world.

The Berlin quartet Gewalt, made up of DM1, Helen Henfling, Jasmin Rilke and Patrick Wagner, has made the condensation of the impossibility and inescapability of human existence its theme. Gewalt was founded in a Berlin basement in 2016. 2 years after the release of their debut album 'Paradies', the German Wut Wave Sensation will release their eleventh single in November 2023. The single 'Trans' has the makings of a post-punk classic. It is a trans gender empowerment and solidarity anthem. A call for freedom in dealing with any gender identity. 'Monika in Scherben' works on a violent shoegaze idea.

With her powerful and multi-faceted voice, flamboyance and character, Ankathie Koi captivates her audience. Her first single from 2014, "Kate, it's hunting season", has long since become an fm4 classic. For her drith album, Ankathie Koi returns to her mother tongue and sings in German. She describes the result as modern retro-pop. The singer, composer and entertainer lives in Vienna.

Tresor - Berlin

In terms of sound, Cecilia Tosh is primarily influenced and inspired by Detroit techno and dub techno. Her sets have a constant groove, are deep, trippy and yet very colorful. Cecilia is co-curator of "New Faces" at Tresor Berlin and is known for her multifaceted journeys at Berghain or HÖR. She is co-founder of the agency CURA Berlin and initiated the exhibition and album Kotti Island Disc.

NUTCRACKER (founded 2017 in Innsbruck) is a sonic punk rock duo in the tradition of early 90s no wave and noise rock bands. The sound of NUTCRACKER can best be described as a fusion of druck-full and jazzy Drums, drecky razor-sharp downtuned guitars, overdriven voices and straightforward song structures.

Cirque de la Merde is a post-punk/hardcore band from Innsbruck that released their debut album 'Favorite Season' in March 2024. The four musicians have already played in various bands from the punk and HC scene (including Janösch, Stockkampf, Akedia, etc.) as well as in numerous theater productions. With their lyrics, which singer Alica Sysoeva performs in German, English, French and Russian, the band is extremely captivating and versatile in terms of both sound and lyrics.

Joe Grave & the Skeleton Boys describe themselves as 'drei manic undead who summon the evil spirits of hell'. The Innsbruck-based band has dedicated itself to freely improvised metal, creating new moments and structures in their sets every time.
