FAMILY CARNIVAL ON CARNIVAL TUESDAY

On Shrove Tuesday, March 4, 2025, Innsbruck's city center will be transformed into a colorful and foolish hustle and bustle at the big family carnival. From 13:00 to 18:00 at Sparkassenplatz and from 13:00 to 19:00 in Maria-Theresien-Straße, visitors can expect a varied program full of fun and entertainment. NEW this year: Sparkassenplatz will become an additional location especially for the youngest carnival guests!

Creativity and fun for all children
Numerous play and activity stations invite you to try out new things, while sporting challenges provide fun and action. Of course, the popular make-up stations are not to be missed: Bright colors, imaginative motifs and creative face painting add the finishing touches to the carnival costumes. The local gastronomy provides a wide selection of food and drinks.

Thrilling entertainment and living traditions
On stage, a DJ act provides the best atmosphere and invites all young dancers to join in the celebrations with a joint choreography. In addition, traditional groups from Innsbruck present their artistically designed costumes and delight the audience with their creative interludes.
