On October 4, Innsbruck is inviting you to take your shopping into the evening at Shopping Night and experience the city in a very special atmosphere. On this evening, retailers will keep their doors open until 10 p.m. - a special highlight for anyone who would like to store outside of normal opening hours. This leaves plenty of time to stroll through the numerous stores and boutiques at your leisure and discover one or two new favorites - discover diversity, experience music and enjoy Innsbruck!
Beer Alps Festival presents beers from the Alpine region
The Beer Alps Festival takes place on the market square from 2 pm. Here, visitors can discover over 15 breweries from the Alpine region and taste their beers. The Beer Alps Competition awards ceremony will also take place, where both breweries and hobby brewers can be honored. The whole event will also be accompanied by rousing boogie woogie music.
Show around the corner
The local businesses around Sparkassenplatz, Wiltener Platzl and in the old town are joining forces to offer their customers a very special shopping experience on this evening. In addition to unique attractions in the numerous stores, visitors can expect a high-quality goodie bag, lovingly filled by the participating stores, when they make a purchase exclusively for Shopping Night.
Extensive supporting program with piano music, graffiti and dance performance
From 5 p.m., visitors can look forward to a special musical program that will turn their stay into an experience. On this evening, the black and white keyboard instrument takes center stage and creates a very special atmosphere. Numerous musicians and artists will enliven the streets and squares of the city and provide wow moments between shopping sprees

SALOON PIANO brings ragtime, cowboy songs, film music and original compositions to the stage. The duo with Simeon Matlack on piano and Jan-Hendrik Schreiber on drums combines groovy rags and old western ballads with improvisation, paired with harmonica and vocals.

Jack Marsina
With his charismatic voice, Jack Marsina takes the audience back to the clubs and casinos of the 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s, in the style of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Louis Prima and many more. He is accompanied by two greats of the Austrian jazz scene: Robert Sölkner on piano and Philipp Zarfl on double bass.

From Auinger to Zandi
Scharmien Zandi (vocals, piano) and Michael Auinger (saxophone) can always be found together on stage. Whether with Scharmien's trip-rock band CADÛ, or in AMOUR FOU, an avant-garde chanson show for which Scharmien received the Austrian Music Theater Award in the "Best Off Production" category in 2020. Free travel in the city with the IVB lines
The IVB lines can be used free of charge this afternoon and evening (from 2pm to midnight) to get to the Shopping Night and move between the various locations.
